Our leading team includes Brooklyn, Mascha and Leanne, with over 30 years teaching experience combined. The 200-hour curriculum covers more than yoga theory - we hone on what you need to start your journey as a yoga teacher. ‍

Curriculum

It’s a chance to deepen your practice, broaden your understanding of yoga, and a beautiful journey inward to give shape to how yoga can become a catalyst for change, growth, and something that you can share with others. ‍

We will dive deep into the traditional roots as asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy and anatomy, while embracing and exploring modern yoga innovations and innovators. Brooklyn, Mascha and Leanne will teach all the juicy, useful and profound elements of their dream 200 Hour Teacher Training. ‍‍

Inspiring guest teachers will share their knowledge in this next teacher training, including our beloved teacher Toni, who will offer a Katonah Yoga Module, exploring your body as a house. Susan will come to us, to share her rich knowledge and understanding of anatomy. ‍‍

Brooklyn

I found Yoga as a place where movement wasn’t about how fast or strong you could be but rather the exploration and connection of self/Self. The winds eventually led me to Creature Yoga in the Bundjalung Country (Byron Bay, Australia), where I would do the majority of my training and teaching. ‍

My incredible teachers and mentors are Bess Presscott, Tahl Rinsky, Rose Baudine, Gwyn Williams, Brooke Elliston, and Almuth Krammer. ‍

But it is the story of my ancestors, the sun, the stars, soils and salt waters of the south pacific that stain my skin and run through my veins. Modalities of movement, touch, deep listening and healing have been silently gifted to me and my people for generations. My work, my offerings started as a way to connect to them, my tupuna (ancestors) & my Wairua (spirit).

Mascha

I was introduced to Yoga through surfing, my other big passion, in my late teens. With a background in swimming and triathlon, the Yoga asana practice was far from my usual movement patterns and challenging for me in many ways. But something about it captured me from the very beginning and over time Yoga started to influence all aspects of my life. I practice and teach both Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga. I love the creativity and intuitiveness of Vinyasa Yoga and the clarity and discipline of Ashtanga Yoga and am grateful to be able to share my passion for both with my students. ‍

I completed my first Teacher Training in 2016 with Yoga Works in California where I’ve learnt their signature style of alignment based Vinyasa Yoga. I then moved to Berlin where I started practicing Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga with my teacher Susen Pijur, before starting to teach in 2019. Since 2021 I have been practicing Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga which has further deepened my practice and understanding of Ashtanga Yoga. In 2022 I started my advanced Teacher Training with Simon Park. Simon’s ability to read the body is truly impressive and his therapeutic approach to the practice opened new horizons for me in my teaching as well as my practice. ‍

I am very grateful for the opportunity to share my love for Yoga and thank all my teachers for their guidance and support.

Leanne

‍Leanne has been teaching yoga for over 20 years in Sydney, New York and Berlin. She mentors teachers all over the world, guiding them through the inner work and to a place of trust and confidence.Leanne is Yoga Alliance ERYT500 and CEAS certified.
